In this tutorial I show you how to create a simple animation/flash in illustrator.

After you finished the tutorial you’re able to create animated headers and more.

Step 1

Create a new document in Illustrator and place the first ball.

Step 2

Copy the layer and move the ball a little bit up and left.

Step 3

Copy the second  layer and move the ball a little bit up and left.
Attention! Don’t move the other layers!

Step 4

Repeat Step 3 a few times.

Step 5

Select all the different balls and assign a colour.

Step 6

Now select all the different balls and assign the “Multiply”- option in your transparency tool.

Step 7

Select the last ball and assign 10% opacity.

Step 8

Select the previous balls and assign the opacity from 30% to 100%.

Step 9

Now export the file.

Step 10

Select the option “Flash /*.SWF”.

Step 11

A new window appears. In this window you can adjust your animation.  Export the Ai layers as SWF frames. Set the framerate to 10 fps. Export the file.
Now your animation is finished!
